On April 9 and 10, 2008, Estrella Mountain Community College hosted 

Music In Our World: A Performance and Lecture Series

Students, faculty, staff, and the community were entertained and educated by the nation's finest classical and jazz performers and educators. Event was made possible with a grant from EMCC's International and Intercultural Education. This event was organized and developed by Dr. Jeanie Pierce, EMCC Music Humanities instructor, in collaboration with Jason Mosall, event performer and lecturer.
