UVON & The Blues Nights performed a hand-clapping, toe-tapping Blues and Jazz Revue for students, faculty, and staff at Estrella Mountain Community College. The performance featured standard blues songs from around the country as well as original songs written by Dr. Yuvonne Brooks.
In celebration of Black History Month, students from Jeanie Pierce's Music Humanities classes created displays featuring the lives and contributions of African American musicians from Classical, Jazz, Rock 'n' Roll, and Rhythm and Blues.
